The rotary dryer is called dryer for short. It is a type of drying machine used to handle materials in large quantities. 2. Working principle of rotary drum dryer.
When the material is delivered to the hopper by the belt conveyor or bucket lifter, it will be fed into the charging end via the charging machine of the hopper. And also the slope of the charging pipeline should be bigger than the natural angle of the material, which will make sure the material moving smoothly into the dryer. The rotary drum of the dryer is slightly inclined, and the material is fed from the high end while the heat carrier is from the low end; or both of the material and the heat carrier are put into the drum together at the high end and move to the low end with the rotation of the drum. When the wet material moves forward, it will be dried by the heat carrier and sent out by belt conveyor or spiral conveyor. There is an interior dispersion sling to throw the material up and down in order to raise the drying rate and make the material move forward. The dust collector cyclone should be used to collect the material in the hot air after the heat carrier has gone through the dryer. If there is need to reduce the dust discharging, the pulse bag filter or hydro-scrubber can be adopted. |
