     Characteristics and applied range of this series of spiral conveyors:
¡¡¡¡
    GX-type spiral conveyors were manufactured as the earliest versatile production equipment in China.
With the rotation of spiral, material will be conveyed along the machine shell, and it will not rotate with the spiral because of its own weight and the friction from the machine shell.

    Advantages of spiral conveyor:
    1. Simple structure, relatively small cross section dimension and low cost;
    2. It is convenient to load and unload materials;
    3. Easy to operate;
    4. Materials are isolated from the outside during conveying course.

    Disadvantages of spiral conveyor:
    high motive power consumption, machine parts are easy to wear and materials will be seriously smashed during conveying course.

    GX-type spiral conveyor is applied to convey powdery materials, small granular materials and small blocky materials, such as flour, cement, coal powder, sand and so on. But the machine is not suitable to convey materials that easily deteriorated, sticky or massive. Because those materials will stick to the spiral and rotate with it or even block at the suspension bearing.

    The diameters of this series of spiral conveyors are: 150mm, 200mm, 250mm, 300mm, 400mm, 500mm and 600mm.The length is from 3 meters to 70 meters. With the working condition of -20¡æ¡«50¡æ and 20¡ã inclination, the machines can convey materials under the temperature of 200¡æ.
 
     General layout and structural features of spiral conveyor:

¡¡¡¡A spiral conveyor is mainly composed of spiral conveyor body, charging and discharging devices and driving device. Appliance switch and motor starting equipment are not provided by our company.
¡¡¡¡Spiral conveyor body includes three parts, namely, head part, middle part and tail part. Normally, we always arrange the middle part in sequence according to the length of its components: the longest component is close to the head part and components with the same length are next to each other. If there is special requirement, please provide the required sequence when place the order.
¡¡¡¡Thrust bearing is installed in head part to bear axial force; and there are bearing support spiral shafts in both middle part and tail part. In addition, radial bearing is also fixed in the tail part to compensate the length error of the spiral shaft and adapt to the change of temperature.
¡¡¡¡The forms of spiral surface are entity spiral (S process) and belt spiral (D process). Flange coupling and spline coupling are used between each spiral shaft, which make sure the interchangeability of couplings and easy maintenance.
¡¡¡¡The tile-type cover is fixed on the machine shell by bolts. If the sealing performance need improving, the users can add water-proof rubber asbestos plates between the cover and the machine shell.
¡¡¡¡There are four types of charging and discharging device: feeding port, square discharging port, hand-push-type discharging port and rack-type discharging port. The position of feeding port and discharging port should make sure a certain distance between the port and end. Meanwhile, the two ports should not collide with the gas cup of the suspension bearing, the flange couplings of the machine shell, the base and other parts. Circular flange can be made in accordance with the requirements.
¡¡¡¡Driving device includes three kinds of machines: ZQ series of reducers & Y series of electromotors, YTC gear reducer and cycloid pin gear reducer.
¡¡¡¡The middle bearing is adopted a kind of material called PTM, which posses high self lubrication and wear resistance that make sure a long service life. Oil bearing is used under high temperature condition.
