Demagnetizer is a kind of frequently-used auxiliary equipment in sectional magnetic separation. The utilization of demagnetizer after the first-stage magnetic separation will effectively break the agglomeration of magnetic minerals, therefore, to enhance the efficiency of the second separation.

    Demagnetizer is made up by five coaxial circular coils that with different diameters and lengths. When flowing through a steel tube in the center of coils, ore pulp will be demagnetized.

    Demagnetizer is widely used in the process of separation, screening and filtering in magnetic separation plants. It is also used to demagnetize weighting additive for magnetic medium in coal cleaning plants.

    After demagnetization, minerals will become nonmagnetic minerals and no longer attract ferromagnetic substances. By cleaning, work pieces can extend service life and enhance surface effect.
