Spiral Classifier -> Details:

    Spiral classifier is mainly composed of transmission device, spiral, chute, hoisting appliance, bottom support (gap block) and discharging valve.

    According to different specific gravity of different solid granule and different terminal sinking velocity of ore grain group, spiral classifier can separate the wide ore grain group into several narrow groups, put unqualified coarse particles back to the ball mill again and timely separate qualified fine particles to the next procedure. In other words, the main purpose of spiral classifier is discharging fine particles from overflow tube and put coarse particles into ball mill again by its spiral blade.

    Spiral Classifier is indispensable in the concentration plants. It can be widely used together with ball mill to form a closed cycle to separate ore; can be used alone in gravity concentration plant to separate ore and slurry or make granularity separation of ore pulp in metal concentration process; and can be also used in sand washing, desliming and dehydration.

    Spiral classifier is simple, reliable and easy to operate.

    There are six types of the spiral classifiers: single spiral classifier and double spiral classifier; high-weir single spiral classifier and high-weir twin spiral classifier; immersed single spiral classifier and immersed twin spiral classifier.
