A ball mill is generally composed of drum, scale board, feeder, discharger, hollow shaft, bearing, transmission device and lubrication system. When the drum is rotate around the horizontal shaft at certain speed, the steel balls and materials will reach somewhere with the drum under the effect of friction and centrifugal force. They will be thrown down when their gravity are bigger than their centrifugal force, and thus to crush the minerals by the impact force. In the mean time, motion between mediums will also grind the materials when ball mill is working. Ball mill is mainly used in fine grinding and coarse grinding. The machine is widely used to grind raw materials and finished products in cement plant, metallurgical industry, chemical industry, power industry, building materials, silicate industry and other industrial and mining establishments.
